hmmm

my birthday was the 16th. i got a heavy bag and some gloves which is f***ing awesome. ive been spending so much time working that thing lately. its seriously helping. i have also been doing a bit weight lifting to supplement my training. nothing heavu just 3,s 8,s and 10,s. i think all this has paid off because yesterday i scored my first clean blow on myu stepdad when we were sparring so i was stoked on that. i got a new phone, its la shiz.

pumping iron

ive started lifting weights recently to supplement my training. i feel it make the techniques more plausible when strength is added. especially the jujutsu techniques. the weapons feel lighter to. tomorrow is class so its off to bed.

Surprizes

Well today in class i had the opportunity to try my techniques on someone besides my sensei. i did kinda shitty. now i see why he has me repeat so much because im not good at the techniques. in better new i did get my blue belt. subway is pretty good.

stuf

well today is saturday, which means i had class. it was not so bad this time. we worked on techniques a bit more which was cool. i need alot more practice.

i should probably work on more weapon stuff to. as im pretty much done with all the forms (except lashing staff) so far my weapon katas include a jo, dao, lashing staff(two section staff), and hanbo. all the forms are slightly non traditional but effective. Bo should be the next weapon then spear. if i can get solid forms for those weapons aswell as aditional ones for the weapons im currently using ill be set for awhile on weapons and can focus on self defense. im also contemplating a sjambok kata but am cureently against it.
